Petroleum Limited is a geographically focused
oil and gas exploration company active in the Middle East.
Indago is a non-operating partner in three exploration concessions in Oman. The company is an active explorer and has recently completed an exploration drilling campaign comprising three wells, onshore Oman, targeting gas-condensate bearing structures. This drilling programme was completed in mid 2008. Unfortunately the drilling programme encountered severe problems in each of the last two wells related to tectonic instability of the wellbore. In each case, the well had to be abandoned prior to reaching target depth. A detailed post-mortem analysis is in process for each of the two wells and it is hoped that these wells can be successfully redrilled later in their respective license periods. Seismic data acquired over all three concession areas during 2006-7 has now been processed and detailed mapping is in process.
